MIDGET tackle football is for children, usually 5th and 6th graders, born after 9-1-00.  Max weight 160lbs

Each team plays approximately two games a week...one week night under the lights, and one Sunday AM. The practice schedule is per each coach. Each team plays 6 to 8 games. There are playoffs and a Super Bowl game....last year played at Cold Spring H.S.on the new field turf!!

Please note that this season there will be games scheduled over Columbus Day weekend!

Note: HSL provides a helmet and game jersey.  Players need to provide the rest of their equipment such as shoulder pads, pants,cleats, practice jersey, etc.

A maximum ball carrier weight will be implemented when weigh-ins are done. We practice and play at Mill Dam field and at local schools. NO TRAVEL INVOLVED!!
